Award-winning frantic comedy “Convenience” premieres at ISA November live screening in Hollywood

In a frantic attempt to get home for the holidays, Melanie is interrupted by many unmerry inconveniences. This is “Convenience” (USA), the frenzied comedy written by Allie Leonard and directed by Keith Powell confirmed for the lineup of the November live screening of Independent Shorts Awards.

At Raleigh Studios Hollywood on Saturday 30th, 6 pm. The screening is followed by a Q&A with some members of the cast and crew.

Convenience” was awarded Silver Best Women Short and an honorable mention for Best Acting Ensemble.


Besides Convenience“, ISA screens in this session “9 to 5” by Filippos Tsapekis (Greece), awarded Silver Best Original Story; “Alia” by Sreehari Purimetla (India), awarded Best Film of the Month (August) and Platinum Best LGBTQ Short;; Joyeux Noël” by Haley Webb (USA), awarded Gold Best Dark Comedy Short plus two other accolades; and “Painted Survival” by Maria Perlifonova (USA), awarded Platinum Best Student Director (Female); and “Vicky’s Not Here” by Anna Naumi (USA), awarded Platinum Best First Time Director (Female) and Best Actress, plus 4 other accolades.

All films are followed by a Q&A with the respective cast and crew.
