The Five Fingers of the Devil

Beatrice returns to her town, in Calabria, where her father has just died. Here her mother treats her badly, because she prefers Beatrice’s sister, Claudia, who is a musician. The town is near Pentedattilo (“Five Fingers” in English), a ghost town where Beatrice walks and founds her relief. But once Beatrice has gone back home, disturbing accidents start to happen…

The original idea was for a film about an astronaut/scientist who was trapped in a cycle of serving a group of sub-human aliens. To save money it would all be filmed at preexisting locations, would have minimal cast requirements and would rely on sound design to sell the idea of been on an alien planet.
