2023 Annual Awards: World premiere of Kyrgyzstan drama “Traces on the Wall”, with the production team

Award-winning 15-minute drama “Traces on the Wall” (Kyrgyzstan) premieres at the 2023 Annual Awards this September at Regal LA Live.

Directorial debut of Asel Abakirova, the film inspired by true events follows the story of a young man victim of a spinal cord injury and how, after several unsuccessful suicide attempts, he accidentally finds a small ray of hope to live on.

“Traces on the Wall” plays in Block 12, Cinema #14, on September 16th, at 4.10pm, as special guest film.

Several members of the production team from Kyrgyzstan will be at Regal LA Live, downtown Los Angeles, for the premiere. A rare opportunity to learn more about the independent film production of Central Asia.
