Mara joins a cult. There they perform rituals and consume a drink made from a powerful hallucinogenic plant that only grows in the garden´s orchard. The spiritual guides of the community announce the arrival of the Messenger, and therefore, the end of the earthly age. One morning, Mara takes the pollen straight from the plant. The result is a hallucination so intense that it produces a space-time disorientation that cracks her.
