MAMÁ

MAMÁ

Jordan (Kenechi Wilson), a resilient single mother from South London, faces a harsh reality as she’s forced to flee the home of her adopted mother, who has spiraled into drug addiction. With nowhere to turn and her two-year-old daughter, Nevaeh (Sorayah Ayodeji), in tow, Jordan embarks on a desperate journey to find shelter on Christmas Eve night.

In her search for refuge, Jordan turns to her closest friend, Rey (Daniella Arthur-Kennedy), only to face the consequences of her past actions. Unable to forgive Jordan’s previous behavior, Rey turns her away, leaving Jordan and her daughter homeless and vulnerable on the coldest night of the year.

Mamá captures the raw emotional depth of a mother’s determination to protect her child at all costs. As Jordan struggles against overwhelming odds, the film delves into the lengths a mother will go to keep a roof over her daughter’s head, even when all hope seems lost.
