The Ballad of a Wandering Rider is a story of a mysterious masked rider and his young companion “Nitka” on dangerous roads steeped in violence and sin. Nitka becomes both witness and memory to the rider’s deeds, for it is through the rider’s strange powers that he is brought back to life — so that he may bear witness to this journey of redemption and carry forth its message.
