What happens when your best friend has turned her entire life into a musical? Two fed-up friends stage the funniest “intervention” you’ve ever seen — complete with absurdly timed songs, awkward confrontations, and one stubborn, gas-lighting, UNSTOPPABLE alto!
Intervention is a 7.42 minute short film comedy about three longtime friends, one of whom has developed an uncontrollable habit of singing her way through everyday life, whether encountering strangers, reading a menu or chatting around the kitchen table. When her friends stage a hilarious “intervention,” desperation meets absurdity in a playful look at the hilarious breaking point between compassionate friendship and an explosion of shattered patience!
Created in collaboration between 3 real-life college theater friends, this film is a blend of comic timing and a loving nod to the quirks we endure (and cherish) in those closest to us. Intervention will strike a chord with audiences who appreciate down to earth, quirky and side-splitting storytelling.
