When self-absorbed, B-grade travel blogger Cassidy Jackson lands in New York City to document the city’s “Best Short-Term Rental Host,” things quickly spiral out of control. Phillip Marks, the quirky, neurotic, fame-hungry host, is desperate to make a good impression—but his dreams unravel when two unexpected guests show up: his rugged, no-filter mother Barbara Marks fresh from outback Australia, and Paulie, the loud, horny, unhinged neighbor with zero boundaries. As personalities clash in Phillip’s perfectly appointed, uptown NYC apartment, tensions explode into a chaotic blend of brute force, silliness, and soul-searching. What begins as a simple influencer video shoot devolves into a comedic storm of selfishness, frustration, and unlikely revelations.
