Award-winning Italian drama “Carolina” is streaming at ISA channel

A priest, Don Loris, devoted and solitary, in the company of his usual routine, his manic gestures, his collar, his glasses, his beard, his kiss at the crucifix and his morning walk.
A very large church, a very narrow confessional.

All normal, until he begins to talk to a woman, who wants to be confessed almost every day, church meetings become more frequent, a psychological feeling is born. The divine and human reason are compared. In the days following the usual routine does not work perfectly like every day, the collar does not enter him, the glasses do not seem to fit, he injures his neck while cutting his beard, something is wrong.

He asks God for help, with a prayer for this discomfort. The moment he seems determined to retrace his steps, only the viewer will discover that this woman never existed, but it was only the mental projection of Don Loris.
Did he confess himself?
