Belgium, 1944: After the war is lost, German Luftwaffe Officer Aren Steiner (Aramis Merlin) is fighting for his survival. Following his younger brother into a war he never wanted to be part of, all he wants is to come home to his wife and child. Alone and severely wounded he steals the clothes from a Belgian farmer to use as disguise. He seeks shelter in what seems to be an abandoned farm. But to his misfortune, he is surprised by US Army medic Michael (Jon Maxwell) who has been hiding here and who is now holding Aren at gun point. Will Aren be able to keep up his disguise? Will they be able to trust each other or will fear succeed? In a fight for survival, can two enemies become friends? Will they be able to overcome the label their countries have bestowed upon them and see each other as what they both are: Human beings.

Not only a tremendous amount of emotional depth was required to portrait these character and their personal relationship to this gruesome war, the film was also shot trilingual in which actors Aramis Merlin and Jon Maxwell are speaking German, French and English.

Directed by Hanyang Huang (USA)
