After being unemployed for forty days, engineer Lin Xu joined an intelligent companion company and was responsible for calibrating the AI androids with abnormal emotions. Lin Xu eventually realized that in a system that only measures efficiency and profit as the sole criteria, both humans and machines are merely interchangeable tools.
