In a society where women are stripped of their freedom and forced into roles determined by an authoritarian regime, young Emine risks everything to save her friend from a fate neither of them chose. Her act of defiance makes her an unexpected face of a growing revolution, but resistance comes with devastating consequences. In retaliation, the President imposes a new punishment upon every woman in the country: they are forbidden from speaking. As Emine confronts the repercussions of what she has set in motion, Honey by a Thread explores friendship, sacrifice, and the cost of becoming a symbol of hope in a world determined to silence it.
