Reduction follows Gabe, a neurodivergent man in his late 20s, as he retreats into his apartment after the death of his partner, Lici. Haunted by childhood rules that shape how he processes grief, he finds both guidance and confinement in them. Everyday sensations trigger vivid memories, blurring past and present and drawing him into an alternate reality where he reconnects with a version of Lici. As his grip on reality falters, Gabe navigates love, loss and memory, struggling to stay grounded while confronting the overwhelming power of grief.
