Rudy has always dreamed of inventing time travel. But when he learns that the funding for his experiment is being pulled, he attempts one final test… a test that drops a medieval knight right into the living room of his college apartment. Rudy is now stuck babysitting Wesley, a knight displaced from medieval times. With the aid of his roommates (the eccentric Nat and Frankie), Rudy must teach Wesley how to survive the challenges of modern life while he tries to achieve his life dream by proving his experiment a success.
Over the course of the journey, Rudy, Wesley, Nat, and Frankie grapple with science, magic, destiny, and each other as they navigate the most frightening thing of all… real life.
