he Papulu tribe once held a Puyuma Joint Annual Festival; all tribes collaborated to create a theme song, which was quite meaningful. After consaulting with Principal Lin Qingmei and other elders, the tribal chief Priest Lin Tianfu decided to use the melody of a well-known tribal song sung by Mr. Lu Senbao, and rewrote the lyrics in the Puyuma language, thus creating the catchy bulay nanta Pinuyumayan.
This song, from the Papulu perspective, introduces the ten Puyuma tribes in the sequence of the lyrics. Touched by the breathtaking cross-stitch patterns in the sky, a Puyuma boy feels an overwhelming longing for his sister aboard a space station, while they are singing the song “bulay nanta Pinuyumayan.”
