Awarded every month and valued at over USD $1,000, the new package provides filmmakers with professional resources that can support their next project through post-production, visual finishing, cinema mastering, storage, and theatrical delivery.
Through these partnerships, Independent Shorts Awards continues to expand its support beyond festival recognition, connecting award-winning filmmakers with practical industry tools designed to help them move their work forward.
Each monthly, the Best Short of the Season winner will receive:
Professional DCP Package and Cloud Storage from FilmVault
The winner will receive a complimentary professional Digital Cinema Package for a future project of up to 40 minutes, provided by FilmVault, the Official DCP, Cinema Delivery & Digital Asset Partner of Independent Shorts Awards.
The prize may be redeemed for one future project within two years of the award announcement.
The package includes professional DCP creation, secure cinema delivery, and encrypted cloud storage for the DCP and related assets, helping filmmakers prepare their work for theatrical exhibition.
FilmVault provides a complete cinema-delivery environment through which filmmakers can securely manage essential materials such as DCPs, trailers, subtitles, artwork, and other project assets.
