Beyond The Silence

Beyond The Silence

The map of Vietnam is completed not only by the currents of the Kinh people, but by the delicate branches of fifty-three ethnic minorities. The camera quietly follows the daily lives of the Cơ Tu, Tà Ôi, Hmong, Red Dao, and Gia peoples across a long journey stretching from Da Nang to Sa Pa.
This documentary focuses solely on capturing the texture of living — through the movement of hands, the turning of seasons, and the rhythms of community. It asks: what does it mean to document coexistence without judgment, to bear witness to another world without imposing upon it? A contemplative journey that listens for the vast resonances long hidden within silence.
