Arriving on an empty shore while holding a bouquet of dying flowers, lovelorn Julian Hurr enters a neighborhood searching for the woman and home of his dreams. Guided by a cryptic waitress, he finds Vermillion, an enigmatic and strangely unreal woman. Dissatisfied, Julian drifts between memory, dream, and waking life as he wanders through deserted streets, pondering the choices presented to him. As he confronts echoes of his younger self he begins to glimpse the artifice of the world around him.
