Andrew returns home to make amends with his father. Tormented by the lack of communication between them, and his desire of becoming an actor in the entertainment business causes the friction between them they can’t seem to resolve. Andrew from a young age idolizes his father and yet at the same time, is still seeking his independence. Having left home to chase his dream of acting he soon realized his dream was more difficult to achieve. His failures and dependency on his father’s financial assistance is what drives him home to finally uncover the dysfunction and destruction of the family. He accomplishes the goal of communicating the truth. As the audience soon realizes, this attempt is not in vain, and he gains clarity by his own actions by having “The Last Word.
