Chhaupadi is an ancient practice in Nepal that forces menstruating women and girls away from their main homes to live in small huts, based on cultural beliefs that they are impure when they bleed. The film follows a 13-year-old village girl, who dreams of winning a music contest hosted by her idol, but has her first period 2 days before the contest. She must find a way to reach the idol through her singing. With the use of VR and a hybrid documentary style, this film lets the viewers experience the isolation of being trapped inside a Chhaupadi hut.
