After the birth of his child, Sgt Cervantes, a Marine Corps Scout Sniper, struggles with his military identity and fails to take a shot at an enemy combatant, putting himself and his squad at risk. He is then mandated to be psychologically evaluated by a Combat Veteran turned VA Therapist, Dr Boucher. Through a push-and-pull conversation, Cervantes embarks on a difficult journey, gaining insights into the underlying causes of his struggles.
