The Voice of Time

The Voice of Time

The Voice of Time is a cinematic tale inspired by the essence of Opera, entrusted by the Consortium of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO to director Carlo Guttadauro and his studio Anam Cara Comunicazione, with the creative presence of Thomas Guttadauro.

The short film unfolds within the Ducal Palace – the Este heart of Modena – and the Pavarotti-Freni Traditional Theatre. From the immortal voice of the legendary soprano Mirella Freni, fragments of Micaela’s aria resound, sealing an emotional resonance that entwines, in a luminous short circuit of feeling, a conductor (portrayed by Paolo Rodda, Artistic Director of the Teatro Verdi in Trieste), a woman (Sabrina Zuccon), a child (Gaia Caligiuri), and a grandfather (Massimo Gradini).

It is a journey through symbols and icons: a key; the unmistakable bottle designed by Giugiaro; the ancient rows of barrels made of different woods, guardians of family heritage and balsamic virtues. Images flow like musical notes, orchestrated and conducted straight to the heart, engraving in the passage of time the enduring value of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.

The voice-over text is written by Carlo Guttadauro, and the narration is brought to life by the great maestro Rodolfo Bianchi, celebrated dubbing artist of Gérard Depardieu, Geoffrey Rush, Michael Douglas, among many others.

Directed by Carlo Guttadauro (Italy)
