This year, the annual shortlist has 73 projects, chosen from the pool of the 12 monthly round finalists between May 2023 and May 2024, namely 3 284 films from 69 countries overall. The annual nominees are placed in the top 2,2% of the year.
These projects will be screened during the 6th Annual Independent Shorts Awards at Regal LA Live, Los Angeles, next September 14th. Some of the annual finalists not shortlisted will be invited to join the lineup.
The full program should be announced early August.
