This project began when we asked a 5th grade class to write us a short story about a sentient robot and provide some concept art for the characters within. We then took their stories and brought one to life with animation in just 2 short months and a team of under 15.
R.A.K.O. was a labor of love, forged out of passion for our core values as a studio that reading is a superpower which allows us to grow our imaginations and tell our own stories that, in turn, have the same impact on others that our favorite stories have had on us. Storytelling is a mirror that allows us to understand ourselves and our consumption of stories is a bridge for understanding others.
