23-year-old Jodie is asked to take care of her six-year-old sister Nina by their parents, who need to go out of the city to attend a relative’s funeral. Refusing to spend all day with her, Jodie makes up a lie about having a mission to go to Mars every day and that Nina is too young to be brought on the spaceship. However, through spending time with her “childish” sister who passionately believes that goldfish can speak and feel like humans, Jodie begins to change the way she sees the idea of living. In the end, Jodie agrees that she will bring Nina with her the next time she goes to Mars.
