

A lonely mother embarks on a flight back to China from the United States. On the plane, she meets a Chinese-American boy
who’s about her daughter’s age. The two begin to chat and communicate, covering the differences in values between the East and the West and different life stages from politics to culture, from school to family.
At the same time, the mother’s memories of her daily life
with her daughter keep flashing which was not as decent as she tells the boy. Beneath the lie is a tragic contemporary social problem.
After the plane landed, the two strangers become good friends, and the mother also decides to face the facts calmly.
