Tom attends his weekly poker game but it is interrupted by detectives, who bring the shattering news that his wife has been shot and killed. The detectives proceed with the investigation under the assumption that the victim must have known the killer — as is usually the case.
The problem is, almost everyone she knew was attending the game when she was shot.
