“Adiyah Grace” a short film that navigates the discussion of Black Live Matter discussed in the workplace. The workplace setting is a hospital, a place where LIFE most certainly matters.
Dr. Parks, an African American female lead obstetrician, has to balance restraint and stick to the conduct code as she tackles the discussion of Black Live Matter after a co-worker expresses both her frustration and exhaustion for the movement. With controversial and raw discussion this film examines the harsh realities of race in America while also addressing the racial disparities in maternal infant mortality rate for African American women.
