A sequin party dress is hanging on a rack in a street, shimmering in the dawn light, abandoned after its owner unprompted night out.
Right when she’s about to decline an offer to crash at a house party, Elsa comes upon unsettling text messages between her husband-to-be and his mates. She makes up her mind and accepts both the party invite and her best friend’s outfit, a shining sequin dress. She quickly realises she doesn’t fit in at the party: people are too young, too drunk. Thankfully, Carl is just back from years abroad and they click instantly like in the good old days and go on a night of shenanigans and existential questionings.
