The song Copper Lines was written and recorded by Banjii & Mayuri to represent transformation, healing and salvation brought about by love and faith in our often dark and depressing world. But there is hope. And sometimes we find hope in unexpected places. In this song, hope is represented by a spring, unseen on the surface, that exists below a hot desert that gives life to a tree.
The music video is mainly shot in the beautiful landscapes of Sedona, Arizona creating a real life meets fantasy feeling. It also captures some raw and human moments of Banjii & Mayuri’s elopement on the one year anniversary of when this song was written by the two of them, and in the same spot where the lyrics were penned.
Banjii is a multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter, music and songwriting instructor and successful entrepreneur from Georgia USA that has joined forces with Mayuri who is an Indian classical dancer, singer-songwriter, a business strategy expert with nearly a decade of experience in advising Fortune 500 companies and an electronics & telecom engineer from Pune, India.
Coming from completely different professional and cultural backgrounds, together they have created lyrically rich, acoustic music that melds their respective cultures and influences into a cohesive style that promotes healing, transformation and love under their band banner “Banjii & Mayuri.”
