Rewound Memory follows the story of a young couple during the time of COVID-19 pandemic. David waits for his wife, Michelle, a surgeon who works at Nova Bay Hospital, to come home for dinner. He prepares the food while constantly checking the clock. As the time passes, so too does his cheerfulness, replaced by worry and anxiety. The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 leads to a tragic end to the couple’s story: Michelle dies from the virus, and David mourns her while wishing he could reverse time and see her again.
