As crisis unfolds, an individual chases their many fading recollections. “Hear, there” is a short film following a steady, stark, and subconscious journey to an individual’s locational and cognitive boundaries. The confluence of poetic narration and isolated imagery targets the intersection of bereavement and memory.
Auditory and visual effects convey a character’s remembrances, and most precious of all: Their hope for brighter skies, and a lost one’s vivid voice. Made while socially distancing, about social distance.
