It’s a silent, suffocating story that takes place at the bottom of the ocean. The man was obsessed with his art, and the woman with her love. Although they pursue different things, they both have strong and irrational feelings about their goals. Unable to gain the admiration of others, the man shut himself up in his studio and painted over and over his imaginary Deep Sea Banshee; the woman, unloved by the man, finally went mad with love. She sees Siren as her imaginary enemy and Siren as a symbol of her fantasy of perfect love. Unconsciously, she was attracted to Siren in the painting and even imitated her every move. When the man found that Siren in the painting and the reality of the woman actually overlap, he finally set his eyes on the woman. The woman thought she finally acquired the man’s love, but when she found that the man is always to her as a substitute, she can not bear her own love is only a bubble. Her extreme affection for men led her to kill the imaginary Siren, and she died along with her. Men, too, find extreme, desperate beauty in situations that no normal people can understand. Whether it is the extreme pursuit of emotion or art, will eventually lead to self-destruction.
