La Cultura follows boxers Edgar Berlanga, Mathew Gonzalez and Zachary Ochoa as they prepare to fight at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre the evening before the 2018 Puerto Rican Day Parade, continuing the island’s tradition established by Felix Trinidad and furthered by Miguel Cotto. The documentary also covers the first Puerto Rican Day Parade after Hurricane Maria.
