In the 60’s when Jazz was at it’s peak, Maffy Falay was one of the greatest jazz trumpeters of Europe. In the US and in Europe he shared the stage with some of the greatest musicians of the era. He became friends with Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Chet Baker and others.
Being one of the last few representatives of the Bebop Jazz, he leads a lonely life, isolated in the social fabric of Sweden.
With a sincere tone, this documentary tells the story of Maffy through accompanying him in his one-room apartment for a week.
