Logline: The frequency of school shootings in America continues to increase while the nation’s response remains the same: “Thoughts and Prayers”.
Synopsis: Through endless bullying at his private school, Azrael creates a comic book superhero to help cope with the pain. His parents are advocating a generous school
donation from the NRA. While a family friend warns that the rich and privileged will only empathize with her loss once they too have lost their own children in massacres.
Only then will action be made to end the violence, not just “Thoughts and Prayers”.
