Microaggression

Microaggression

This is a brief documentary exposing the reality of microaggression in an American boarding school. Examples include comments that are thought to be compliments but are actually offensive to students of color. These include compliments on how black students are always perceived to be good athletes or fans of hip hop music. These kinds of remarks are very subtle, but they make inaccurate, and often unfair, assumptions about a person’s identity.
