In August 2017, Marit Swenson died after a 6-month long battle with an extremely aggressive cancerous brain tumor, diffuse midline glioma h3 k27m. Marit was only 16 years old. 2 years later, Marit’s mother, Jennifer Swenson, courageously tells her story and the concerning lack of awareness and progress there is for these types of tumors.
