One of the Lucky Ones

You may be lucky to survive, but it takes more than luck to live with what comes after.

Valerie, who lives with her husband Tom, wakes up one morning from an alarming nightmare that leaves her gasping for air. She dismisses her significant other’s concerns for her well-being and clouds her internal struggles by lighting a cigarette. Through a series of triggers that happen that same morning, we come to finally understand the trauma that she has experienced.
