Independent Shorts Awards live screening in Burbank: January round

A wonderful evening with the world premiere of Andersen and the Jinn, by Dutch director Rogier van Beeck Calkoen, and the screening of 5 another ISA award-winning short films, presented by their own cast and crew members. All gathered at the 1817 Film Studios in Burbank, California.

Still Here by Troy Charbonnet (USA), Platinum Best Student Short, Best Student Director and Best Acting Duo (for Sha’quil Reeves and Sylvia Dyson); Gold Best Actor (for Sha’quil Reeves); and Silver Best Editing (for Troy Charbonnet).

 

Cue Jane by Qianzi Gao (USA), Platinum Best Women Short, Best Director (Female) and Best Actress (for Alisha Seaton).

 

Hot Dog by T.J. Yoshizaki (USA), Platinum Best Dark Comedy.

 

The Carpool by Jonathon Graham (USA), Gold Best Dark Comedy.

 

The Assassin’s Apprentice by Russ Emanuel (USA), Silver Best Thriller Short and Best Visual FX (for Tommy Kraft).
